Let's talk truth.
There is a divide in the city of St. Louis between those that have, and those that have not. But like our iconic St. Louis Arch, we have an ability to bridge the divide and heal. StART is an innovative festival with a shared vision to start a dialogue. We hope to bridge socio economic / racial barriers through the creative and transformative process of art. During a weekend, a group of renowned street artists will bring our community together through expression and love. Join us as we find a new inspired way to celebrate the bounty of this great city’s diversity.
HOPE STARTS HERE.
DAY ONE: TRUTH IS BLACK AND WHITE.
Our artists will paint the segregation found in our neighborhoods and start a visual dialogue of harmony between black and white.
DAY TWO: HOPE HAS COLOR.
Those same artists will paint in color, on large canvases, their vision of our new community.
Our diverse collection of artists represent an amazing cross section of American culture and local St. Louis. Their values resonate with St.ART’s mission. – Michael G. Tompkins, Founder
